La Noria a town full of old tradition. You can see leather goods being made by hand, including shoes still being made by hand the old fashion way, you will see people riding horses as a way of life.
One Sundays the town square will be filled with venders selling homemade tamales, deserts, fruit and handicrafts.

In the center of the town in front of the town square is the El Aureliano Restaurant and Hotel, there you will find some great authentic Mexican food dishes with great service.
The restaurant is a two story building with 5 hotel rooms on the top floor. You can eat on the main floor or the second floor for a better view of the town.
From the town square it’s about a 3-4 minute walk to the church. The church is one of the most photographed building in town. Your tour guide from Julio’s Adventure Tours will tell you the history of the church, along with other interesting information about the town.
Many people travel to Mazatlan for the beautiful beaches. They enjoy the walk along the 13 mile long Malecon. Or take day trips to the small surrounding towns to discover a more peaceful laid back atmosphere for a few days.
